There was a contestant's back number found at the District 3 Duquoin Rodeo.  #43 You may pick that up at state finals.

All Buckles for Hillsboro District 2 Rodeo will be given out at Duquoin District 3 Rodeo.  The only buckle that was wrongfully awarded was the 6th - 8th Boys Goats.  The Official Buckle Winner is Colton Streeter!  Good Job Colton!!!  So sorry for the mix up.  6/13/11

Attention: There was never any mistake in the points awarded or in the way that the points were figured for the weekend at Hillsboro District 2 Rodeo!  All points are posted for the year up until this date and are correct!

There was 1 human error in the the way the avarage award winners were figured for 6th - 8th Boys goats.  This is completely seperate from the point system and figured in a different program.  The awards were figured on a 2 day average of times for the weekend.  To find this average time you take the times for each of the 2 days and add them together and divide them by 2.  This is how the event awards were awarded.

Here is the corrected Award Winners for 6th - 8th Boys Goats.

1st Place Colton Streeter
                                                                        2nd Place Zeb Adams
                                                                        3rd Place Brett Schewe
                                                                        4th PlaceTrent Boaden
                                                                        5th Place Amos Beasley

The All Around and Reserve All Around Cowboy & Cowgirl awards are figured on the point system.  All points for all events for the 2 days are added together and that is how we determine who is your All Around & Reserve All Around Cowboys and Cowgirls for the Rodeos. 6/13/11

There was a mistake on the District 2 information sheet.  There will be a concession stand at the District 2 rodeo.  They will be available all weekend long.  They have great food and have really come out and supported IJRA.  If you get a chance stop by the food stand and support the Luck and Buck Saddle Club and tell them you appreciate them allowing us to rodeo on their grounds.  5/15/11

There will be a  Dance and Pizza Party for all contestants at the District 1 Rodeo on Saturday night from 7pm to 9pm.  Remember there is also a 10:30pm Curfew for all contestants.  Also Double G is donated to IJRA.  Please Please be on your best behavior and be sure to clean up after yourself.  This is a wonderful place to rodeo.  Lets take good care to insure we will be invited back.  5/13/11

District 1 will be having a Barrel Race on Friday night before thier rodeo.

Just as a reminder. In order to qualify to ride in the State Finals Rodeo, you must participate in 3 other rodeos.  Each weekend is 2 rodeos.  5/09/11
